Love…Priorities
“The heart is the ruler of the body and the master of one’s spirit and intelligence. It issues orders, but it takes orders from nothing: it restrains itself, it employs itself; it lets itself go; it takes itself in hand; it makes itself proceed; it makes itself stop.”
Priorities and opinions are so susceptible that possessing empathy and open-mindedness makes life less confusing. But each day brings challenging, new experiences, making me question everything I know especially when love is involved. Which brings me to the question; does love change a person?
Love comes in many ways (be it family, friendship or romance) and it's quite interesting to see how your priorities fluctuate when new love comes into your life. It's funny how life has made these unexpected twists and turns, whether it’s the arrival of a new baby that changes your perspective on life OR a new love that comes along and changes every little thing that you do, that cause you to reflect on the value of everyday living. Love of a person tends to cause one to modify their priorities or perception on issues just to please the other, whether it’s agreed upon or done discreetly.
Something To Think About: Does Love motivate Change?

you know.. I was thinking a while ago of that - family love is the only love and the most true one I guess.. speaking from experience of course. As for the heart being the ruler, I thought that was for us women only :p

well I think it demends who you fall in love with.
if you fall in love with someone who is on the same wave length ,then you dont have to do lots of changes when it come to life style or friends. but in the case of falling in love with a person with diff life style , drastic changes has to made.

to this queation of yours i would say yes, but i would add another question: does love is the only thing that can change a person..
experiences and challenges are many, and love is just one of them.. the human relies on a collective mind and hearts like to choose the sense of another person makes more angles to the choosing options..

Human heart, I still don't know why people think that it is the source of inspiration of love. In fact, it is just a physiologic pump that composed of special muscle called cardiac muscle because it is a mixure between skeletal and smooth muscles in 2 things: It is straiated and it is involuntarily controlled. That pumps blood of course.
the source of all human sympathy, empathy .. etc is the human brain which sends signals to the heart by sympathetic nervous system. then you feel that your heart rate increased id you see the person you love. So you can see if someone lost his brain for any pathologic reason. He/She can not express love even if their heart is working well. What I want to say people is, if you heared or believed that love comes from hearts. thats bull shitt.
